Christmas Park at Port Adriano

Where: Port Adriano 

Get your skates on — literally! Port Adriano’s Christmas Park is back, featuring the island’s biggest ice-skating rink (300 square meters!) and a 30-meter-long slide for thrill-seekers of all ages. 

Open daily from 12:00 to 20:00 (closing at 16:00 on December 30), the park is free to enter, and ice skates are provided at no cost (smallest size: 25). Perfect for kids over 4. Don’t miss appearances by Santa Claus and King Melchor — check the schedule on Port Adriano’s website. 

Grab a bite at one of the three food kiosks or sit down for a meal at local favorites like La Oca, My True Burger, or Can Olivo.

“This Old World Is a New World” Exhibition  

When: Until January 11 

Where: La Bibi Gallery, Establiments 

Contemporary art buffs, this one’s for you. La Bibi Gallery presents a stunning group exhibition featuring works from Bianca Barandun, Anna Nero, Callam Green, Carolina Albrecht, and Erika Trotzig. 

The show explores the interplay of old and new worlds, with art as the lens for reflection on future possibilities. Expect vibrant oil paintings, recycled-material sculptures, ceramics, and installations that inspire and provoke thought.

The Grinch: The Musical

Where: Trui Theatre, Palma 

Who says Christmas fun ends on the 25th? The Grinch is stealing the show (and maybe your heart) at the Trui Theatre this weekend. 

This musical adaptation of the classic Dr. Seuss tale is packed with vibrant costumes, catchy tunes, and dazzling choreography. Perfect for families, it’s a must-see for anyone still soaking up the festive spirit.

Holy Year Opening Ceremony at the Cathedral 

When: December 29, 10:00 

Where: La Seu Cathedral, Palma 

For a more solemn and spiritual experience, join the Jubilee or Holy Year’s ceremonial opening at Palma’s stunning La Seu Cathedral. This special Holy Year, declared by the Pope, offers believers a unique opportunity for grace and renewal of faith. 

The Solemn Eucharist (December 29, 10:00) will be presided over by Bishop Sebastià Taltavul and draws worshippers from across the island.
